Dr Marc Tay adalah Senior Consultant Ophtalmic Surgeon dan Direktur Medis Lasik Surgery Clinic (LSC). Beliau juga adalah Senior Consultant Opthalmologist di Tay Eye Sugery.

Dr Tay mempunyai banyak pengalaman setelah bekerja di departemen mata di Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Toa Payoh Hospital dan Singapore National Eye Care Centre. Beliau adalah anggota dari Founding Group of Refractive Laser Surgeons waktu Lasik pertama diperkenalkan di Singapore National Eye Care Centre. Sebelumnya, beliau adalah presiden di Medical Advisory Board, East Shore Hospital dan the Credentialing Committee Chairman of East Shore Hospital.

Dr Tay telah memberikan banyak kontribusi kepada lingkungan sekitar dan sudah menerima banyak penghargaan termasuk the Royal Free Hospital Exchange Programme award (1983), the Singapore Surgical Society Book Prize (1984), the Overseas Service Medal (Operational) SAF 1991, the Liberation of Kuwait Meal (1991) dan the British Gulf War (1991).
